Today I have Poet Craig Anthony, Inside The Booth.
Mr. Anthony tell us what your poem is about.
It's about mass incarceration affecting the nation.
I heard that, well let's talk about it.
Let's look at the picture that is illustrated, blacks and latino's in prison have accumulated. Under this corrupt system this was anticipated. Drugs are being generated young men circulate it. So they build more prisons to accommodate it, toast in the air and celebrate it. Fight back the charge will be aggravated, take them to trail your accusations annihilated. Plus who would deliberate it a jury wouldn't investigate it because there highly educated the evidence gets evacuated. Their dirty work how they delegate it make you think somebody want us exterminated. What about the lawyers and judges they been compensated. What about the police, some participated, well how do you feel discriminated They put us all in one hood we been consolidated.
Well alright, that's a rap. Next week on Inside The Booth we will have Styled By Young his motto is If You're Not Styled By Young, You're Not Styled. Thank you for tuning in listeners be safe and God bless.
